Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-07

Who we are

atprank.com (“we”, “us”), operated by AtpRank, runs a tennis ranking website. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have — with a focus on United States residents, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (collectively, “CCPA”). It applies to atprank.com and our related services.

Information we collect

  • Identifiers / account data: email address and authentication identifiers when you sign in (e.g., via Google).
  • Commercial / subscription data: subscription status, plan, and billing identifiers from our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Internet / device activity: pages viewed, referring pages, browser and device type, and cookie or similar identifiers, for analytics and advertising.
  • Approximate geolocation: coarse location inferred from IP address.
  • Preferences and inferences: the players you track and your cookie / consent choices.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically through cookies and similar technologies, and from service providers such as our payment processor and identity provider. We do not intentionally collect “sensitive personal information” beyond sign-in credentials and do not use it to infer characteristics.

How we use it

  • provide, maintain, and improve the Service and your account;
  • process subscriptions and prevent fraud;
  • secure the site and enforce our Terms;
  • comply with legal obligations; and
  • subject to your choices, measure traffic and serve advertising.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies for strictly necessary functions, analytics, and advertising, as described in our Cookie Policy. You can change analytics and advertising choices anytime via the consent banner, your Do Not Sell or Share settings, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out.

How we share information

We share personal information with service providers under contract who process it on our behalf, including: Stripe (payments), our hosting and database providers Vercel and Neon, identity providers for sign-in, and analytics/advertising vendors. We also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information for money. Serving advertising cookies may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under the CCPA; you may opt out as described below. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for the period required to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it.

Your California (CCPA/CPRA) rights

Subject to verification, California residents may:

  • know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect;
  • delete personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and
  • not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise these rights, email customersupportmerch@gmail.com or use the Do Not Sell or Share page. We will verify your request using account information and will respond within the timeframes required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.

Other U.S. state rights

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights to access, delete, correct, and opt out. Contact us at the address above to exercise them.

Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards (including encryption in transit) to protect personal information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information without required opt-in consent. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; we will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
