ELO is our model’s strength rating. It is earned by winning, weighted by opponent quality and surface, and it moves faster than the points ranking. The table shows overall and per-surface ELO, each player’s peak, and the gap between ELO rank and official rank (a big + means ELO rates them well above where the points do). ELO powers our match predictions; see the accuracy backtest.
Ratings are computed from every completed match since 2023, warmed over a player’s first matches. See who ELO rates highest relative to their ranking on the underrated-by-ELO board, or the best on each surface: clay, hard, grass.
